Dr. Rebecca Lassley was born in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in biochemistry and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She completed externship training in primary eye care at Coastal Vision Center in Fernandina Beach, FL and training in ocular disease at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. In her fourth year in optometry school, she received an award for Clinical Excellence in Ocular Disease.
Following graduation from Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Lassley completed a residency in Primary Care with a focus in Ocular Disease at the Sergeant Ernest I. “Boots” Thomas Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
